Mary Taverner
Our member of the month for June
is Mary Taverner. She gave the club the opportunity to get
involved with VONS in their lunch packing for the Special
Olympics. This is the 20th year Vons has been a sponsor the
Special Olympics. Not only did she make this service
opportunity available to our club, but she also attended both
days of packing arriving at the site at 5:45am each day.
Through her dedication to service, she helped pack 70 plus
lunches for the participants of the Special Olympics. Way to
serve, Mary!

Marissa Beuhler
Our member of the month for May is
Marissa Beuhler. Marissa has been active in our club for quite
a while, but just recently became a member. This past month she
attended quite a few of our service projects and was on hand at
our fabulous End-of-the-Year-Banquet. With her warm smile,
can-do attitude, and cheerfulness she is a wonderful asset to
our club

Name: Brandon Nottingham
Our member of the month for April
is Brandon Nottingham. He has done an amazing job developing a
fantastic t-shirt to go along with our fabulous, super-secret
theme. He did some serious marathon walking at Relay for Life,
helped make hats at Kaleidoscope, and always is a happy helper
before and after meetings. As if this was not enough, he also
agreed to be our club's webmaster, so we can continue to have a
phenomenal website. Without Brandon , our club would simply not
sparkle the way it does!

Name: D Pham
Our March member of the month is D
Pham. He is a new member, but has shown his
commitment to the club this past month. He
attended DCON and virtually every project this month.
It was amazing the mound of quarters he brought to our
Change Picasso event. He showed his
commitment to the club by stepping to be VP of Membership.
Thank You, D. We appreciate it.

Name: Michael Raymundo
Our
MD&E chair Michael is our February member of the month, for
seemingly attending every event this month and always being
there to support the board.
He did a minimum of 22 hours of service just for our SSP
week activities.
In addition, he also chaired our Officer Information
Conference for potential e-board candidates.
Michael is a tireless asset to our club.
He has always been an amazing member, but this month he
went above anything he has previously done.

Name: Bryan Hambridge
Bryan
Hambridge is our January Member of the Month.
His help with the construction of the scrapbook has been
unflagging.
Also, he currently holds the club record for the most
scrapbook pages completed. That's over 16 hours of
scrapbooking!

Name: Jessica Torres
Jessica is a new member who has been a
wonderful addition to our club. Even during the month
December, she stayed active with the club by attending socials and
helping out at service projects. Additionally,
she went to GO WEST and was constantly cheerful despite the
drenching rain. Jessica is always very enthusiastic and
helpful; her spirit keeps everyone happy and having fun.

Name: Carina Alvarez
Carina has been one of our most
active new members this year. As a new member Carina has joined the
Club Convention Committee and attended numerous projects. In
November Carina attended FTC, Long Beach Rescue Mission and other
gatherings. She also brings along a very positive attitude to all
projects and meetings!

Name: Derek Sollberger
Although being busy with graduate
school Derek has been a terrific addition to our club. Although he
is new to CSULB CKI he is not a stranger to Circle K. Originally a
member of UC Berkeley CKI he has continued to serve his community.
Derek attended 5 service projects in November as well as attend
special gatherings such as the Ice Cream Social. Derek has also
taken many pictures for the club.

Name: Pocholo-Jose Selpides
Pocholo-Jose
has been doing amazing things. Since he became a member of Circle
K he has accomplished over 26 hours of service
. Pocholo-Jose is also a Red Cross
volunteer where he helps those that have been affected by
the many natural disasters that have plagued our world. He also
volunteers weekly at the Long Beach Rescue Mission , donating his
time to helping those who need it.
