Introducing
Point Dexter! |

Created during
the Summer of 2005, Point Dexter is our mascot for our Long Beach State
Circle K club. His big blue presence pays homage to Long Beach State's
impressive and extraordinary 18-story pyramid. The Pyramid encompasses three
full basketball courts, five volleyball courts, and is home to our Division
1 men/women's basketball and volleyball teams. The Walter Pyramid has come
to be one of the biggest icons at Long Beach State. Point Dexter is modeled after the campus pyramid to represent our club in a large and distinguishable way. Three of the four base points represent Circle K International's tenants: Service, Leadership, and Fellowship. The fourth base point represents Beach Pride! All four important points come together to one point at the top reminding us, as Circle K'ers, to make our point with service; reminding us to strive to better our communities; reminding us to never stop fighting for children's futures! As Long Beach State Circle K'ers, we are Making our Point with Service! Below you will find many pictures of Point Dexter in action! |
